Cloudy With A Chance of Clogging

This was my Apidra this morning. I knew it was coming up on the “dead” date, so I thought I’d get one last pod out of it before throwing it away…. Looks like I won’t be doing that since it is in no way shape or form clear and thus unusable.

Good riddance, little vial of Apidra. It was nice knowing you.

I have so many questions! I’ve never seen my Apridra do that! Is that the day you opened it on the vial? Do you store it in the fridge between use? Has that happened to you before?

Hey Sara! Yes, I always put the date that I open my vials on them. Otherwise I’ll lose track. I keep them at room temp between insulin fills. I have had this happen before, but usually like, a week past the 28-day mark, never before it. It’s sorta puzzling me too.
